Blankenship, Carl S. - Date of Death: Tuesday, 5/30/1961

Carl S. Blankenship - Seventy-four years old, 4013 Green Valley Road, who died Tuesday night in a Huntington hospital,
 will be buried in the Crooks Cemetery following funeral services tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. at Crooks Chapel, of which he was a member.
A retired carman for the Chesapeake & Ohio Railway, he was born in Cabell County, a son of the late Reece and Mary Dillon Blankenship.
 Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Lula Crook Blankenship; four daughters, Mrs. B. W. Bunn, Mrs. F. E. Singer, Mrs. Hobart Asbury and Mrs. Edward Boothe of Huntington;
 two sons, Charles Mitchell Blankenship of Point Pleasant and Carl William Blankenship of Moundsville; three brothers, C. G., Cline and Audley Blankenship of Huntington,
and 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The body is at the Kincaid Mortuary, and will be taken to the church at 1 p.m. tomorrow.
