CARRIE W. EAGON, 89, of Huntington, W.Va., died Tuesday, January 19, 2010, in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House.
She was born August 19, 1920 in Chattanooga, Tenn., a daughter of the late Sam D. and Mary Bell Robinson Wilson.
She received her Bachelor's degree from The University of Tulsa and her Masters from LSU and retired as an Executive for Exxon Corporation after 30 years.
A member of Enslow Park Presbyterian Church where she served as an Elder, The Woman's Club of Huntington, YWCA, Service Corps of Retired Executives and a volunteer for the American Cancer Society.
 In addition to her parents she was also preceded by her husband, Bruce D. Eagon, brother Sam and sister, Sammie.
 She is survived by her son, Rex Eagon of Huntington; four grandchildren, Ian Greene, Grant Eagon, Ashley Eagon and Darien Eagon and three great-grandchildren, Maxx Eagon, Rachel Eagon and Adam Eagon.
A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, January 24, 2010, at Enslow Park Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Chris Perkins.
 A gathering of family and friends will follow in the church parlor. Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary is assisting the family.
 Expression of sympathy may be made to Hospice of Huntington.
