VIRGINIA EMOGENE NELSON MORRISON

VIRGINIA EMOGENE NELSON MORRISON, 84, of Milton, W.Va., went home to be with her Lord on Monday, March 29, 2010, at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, April 2, 2010, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton with Rev. Gordon Rutherford officiating. Burial will follow in Milton Cemetery. Emogene was born May 22, 1925, in Cabell County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Clyde and Fannie Johnson Nelson. She is also preceded in death by one sister, Mary Woods and her husband Howard. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Milton. She taught the Sunshine Bible Class for several years at Balls Gap Baptist Church and Mt. Union Baptist Church. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Rev. Millard Morrison; two daughters, Elizabeth "Libby" Black and her husband David and Mary Sayre; two sons, Millard Paul Morrison and Timothy Allen Morrison and his wife Mary; six grandchildren, Deborah Casey (Dennis), Jason Black (Mandy), Michael S. Wray, Lisa Worrell, T.J. Morrison and Michael P. Morrison; two great-grandchildren, Landon Worrell and Alexis Black, and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 1, 2010, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton.
