SHIRLEY SEAGER

SHIRLEY SEAGER, 91, of Barboursville, W.Va., passed away December 25, 2008, at her residence. She was born February 28, 1917, in Lima, Ohio, a daughter of the late Erban and Ethel Lininger Baker. She was a noted equestrian, riding teacher and horse trainer for 40 years in Lima, Ohio, and the Tri-State area. She was preceded in death by her husband, George C. Seager; brothers, Gordon Baker and Larry Baker. She is survived by one daughter, Jill Lutz and her husband, Rick Stoffregen, of Barboursville, W.Va.; one son, Dr. Gary Fowler and his wife, Kay, of Lima, Ohio; two stepsons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Misty Seager of Trenton, Fla., George Jr. and Cindy Seager of Gillette, Wyo.; one sister and brother-in-law, Judy Cahn and her husband, Dann, of Los Angeles, Calif.; sister-in-law, Jacquie Baker of Sumter, Fla.; three grandchildren, Gregory Jones of Chesapeake, Ohio, Kent Fowler of Powell, Ohio, and Kelley Balyeat and her husband, Clay, of Lima, Ohio; seven stepgrandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, "Cowboy"; five nephews; three nieces; and one special caregiver, Carol Gladden. Memorial services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2008, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel by the Rev. Gregory Eden.
