ANGIE LEWIS UNIK

ANGIE LEWIS UNIK, 33, of Culloden, died Saturday, September 2, 2006, after a long battle with cancer in St. Mary's Medical Center with her loving and caring family by her side. Angie was a 1990 graduate of Hurricane High School and received an associate's degree in radiology technology from the University of Charleston. She had worked in various hospitals and doctors' offices in the area. Angie was one of the original Midway Cloggers. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Willam E. Bennett, and paternal grandfather, Jimmie Chilton Lewis; stepmother Suzan Gotez Lews and stepbrother Matt Parsons; and most recently, her father-in-law, Bill Unik. She is survived by her husband, Rick Unik; mother and stepfather Vickie and Steve Farrow of Hurricane; father, James Lewis of Winfield; grandmothers, Helen Bennett of Hurricane and Fran Lewis of Hurricane; and her mother-in-law, Mary Unik of Hurricane, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 6, 2006, at Allen Funeral Home, Hurricane, with Chaplain Mike Jarrett and Rev. James Blake officiating. Burial will follow in Milton Cemetery, Milton, W.Va. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, September 5, 2006, at Allen Funeral Home, 2837 Main St., Hurricane.
