AVA JEAN ROSE WRIGHT, age 82, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 20, 2011. She was a person who lived life to the fullest. She loved everyone she met. Jean dearly loved her family. Her favorite pastime was socializing and dancing. She was born in Huntington W.Va., lived most of her life in Miami Fla. Her last few years were with her daughter Melody in Columbus, Ohio. Preceded in death by her husband, Bill Wright and her parents, Thelma and Frank Rose; son James Douglas Rice; daughter Judith Ann Gardner; granddaughter Cierra Rose Carter. Survived by her daughters, Melody Powers and Traci Baze; her sisters, Hallie Nance and Sharon Frye; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; beloved pet, Missy. She will be loved and missed dearly by her family. A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. January 30, 2011, at the American Legion, Milton, W.Va., for family and close friends. Arrangements by Myers-Woodyard Funeral Home, Groveport, Ohio. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in her memory.
