On April 2, 1951 the following obituary was published was in the Huntington Herald – Dispatch, page 2.

“MRS. FRANCES CORDELIA BEACH - Eight-four years old, of 1952 Seventh Avenue, died yesterday morning in a Huntington nursing home.  The body was taken to the Willis Funeral Home.  Mrs. Beach was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church for 55 years and until her illness, took an active part in the Friendly Bible Class, Ladies Aid Society and the Women’s Missionary Society.  She was the widow of William H. Beach. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. C. E. Hall of Cleveland, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Ollie Hendricks and Mrs. W. A. Clark of Lesage; a brother, Edward Cowan of Wayne; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.”
