“MRS. MARY COWAN – Eighty-one years old, who died at 6 o’clock Monday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. S. B. Hendrick, of Lesage, will be buried in the old Barboursville cemetery following funeral services at 2:30 o’clock this afternoon at the Cox’s Landing M. E. Church. Rev. O. J. Hensley, pastor will officiate. Surviving, in addition to Mrs. Hendrick, are three other daughters, Mrs. W. H. Beech, of Huntington, Mrs. W. F. Alexander, of Columbus, O., and Mrs. M. A. Clark, of Lesage; and one son, Allen Cowan, of Lesage.”
William, Mary and their son Allen are all resting in the old Barboursville Cemetery in Cabell County.
