GLADYS BELLE "MOM" KINGERY    
GLADYS BELLE "MOM" KINGERY, 79, of Lesage went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 24, 2002, in St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2002, at Barker Ridge Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Dailey officiating. Burial will follow in Barker Ridge Cemetery. She was born May 7, 1923, in Cabell County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Brown and Myrtie Taylor Stevens. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Raymond, one daughter, Janet Sophia, granddaughter Justina Marie Smith, sister Mildred Smith and four brothers, Russ, Ralph, Paul and Cotton Stevens. She is survived by four daughters and three sons-in-law, Donna Kingery, Dotsie "Jake" and Jerry Thompson, Dreama and Forrest Bailey, all of Lesage, and Dottie and Jim Scarberry of Ona; one son and daughter-in-law, Raymond and Ruth Ann Kingery of Lesage; one brother, Brown Stevens Jr. of Huntington; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; one special nephew, Charlie Smith; and two special friends, Scott Enix and Kyle Captain. The grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2002, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton. Friends may also call one hour prior to the service at the church.
