DENVER AUSTIN MEADOWS, 81, of Milton, husband of Myrtle Hanks Meadows, died Saturday in VA Hospital, Huntington. Also surviving are 12 daughters, Nola Jean Hayes of Glenwood, Joyce Ann Smith, Gretchen Ann Meadows and Rebecca Lynn Meadows, both of Indiana, Brenda Sue Pratt of Florida, Erma Dean Hatfield, Deborah Bernice Clagg and Arlene Sadler of Milton, Susan Mae Porter of Alabama, Almeda Hayes of North Carolina, Anna Lee Enyart of Barboursville and Shiela Delane Vanorden of New Jersey; five sons, Curtis J. Meadows of New Jersey, Micheal Austin Meadows and Dwayne Paul Meadows of Indiana, Gregory Meadows of Milton and Bruce Allen Meadows of Glenwood; two brothers, Lee Meadows of Huntington and Delbert Meadows of Indiana; and four sisters, Betty Neisess of Chesapeake, Ohio, Elta Mae Eckman of Lake Wales, Fla., and Thelma Allen and Martha Glover, both of Milton. Funeral 11 a.m. Tuesday at Heck Funeral Home, Milton; burial in Bias Chapel Cemetery, Milton. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Heck Funeral Home.
