Dillon, Mattie Evelyn Chambers - Date of Death: Wednesday, 6/18/1947
Mrs. Mattie Dillon - Fifty-one years old, 1601 1/2 Eighth Avenue, who died
yesterday at 2:30 P. M. in a Huntington hospital,
will be buried in the Crooks
Cemetery following funeral services tomorrow at 2:30 P. M. at the Dillon Chapel,
conducted by the Rev. C. E. Midkiff and the Rev. Harvey Sullivan.
She was the
widow of John T. Dillon. Surviving are three sons, Lewis R., Denver W. and Glenn
Chambers Dillon, of Huntington; three sisters, Mrs. Dewey Haskins, Mrs. Roy Doss
and Mrs. Ernest McDaniels of Huntington; three brothers, Lee, Albert, and Homer
Chambers of Huntington; one step-daughter, Mrs. H. E. Deeds of Huntington;
two
step-sons, Paul Dillon of Washington and Harold Dillon of Baltimore, and four
grandchildren.
The body will be taken to the home of Mrs. Haskins, 1505 Rugby
Road, from the Kincaid Mortuary today.
