From Huntington, WV (Cabell Co.) take State Route 2 North
to Spurlock Cr. Road.
This is near the Cabell and Mason County Line. Turn Right on this Road and
go 2.6
miles. The Cemetery is on the Left and is not fenced or keep up very well.
This cemetery is located in a small community that was
called Gwinn.
The cemetery was first called Walnut Grove. It was named after a
small school that was in the community. It's name was later change
to its present name Gwinn.
The local people claim that part of the cemetery was once
use to buried
slaves that worked on the farms in the community.
