MR. FLOYD "CHARLEY" BARBER, 79, of Milton, died Jan. 8, 2003, in VA Medical Center. A memorial service will be conducted at Grace Gospel Church on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2003, at 11 a.m. by Pastor Jerry Matt. Charley was born Aug. 26, 1923, a son of the late Luther and Jennie Harvey Barber. He served in The U.S. Army, worked at Valley Bell Creamer for 28 years, and Black and White Cab for 11 years. He also is preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Bobby Knight Barber; two daughters and one son-in-law, Melissa "Lisa" and Mark Stanley of Georgia and Melanie Barber of Nebraska; one stepdaughter, Nancy Childers of Georgia; five grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, one stepgreat-grandchild. BOBBY C. BARBER, 75, of Milton, W.Va., passed away Monday, July 27, 2009. She was born March 26, 1934, in Cabell County, a daughter of the late Earnest and Alta Nibert Knight. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Martin Barber, and two daughters, Nancy Donot and Melissa Stanley. She is survived by one daughter, Melanie Stutzman of Fremont, Nebraska; a son-in-law, Mark Stanley of Jackson, Georgia; one sister, Helen Hysell of Milton; one brother, William Knight of North Carolina; her caregiver, Patricia Jackson of Milton; seven grandchildren, Christina Estep, Joshua Estep, Christopher Stanley, Joseph Stanley, Andrew Stanley, David Martin Adkins and Lee Adkins; and five great- grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton.
