ELVA PRICE CAMPBELL, 92, of Huntington, W.Va., died Friday, July 8, 2011, in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2011, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastors Scott Jenkins and Steve Williams officiating. Burial will be in Milton Cemetery, Milton, W.Va. Elva was born Aug. 14, 1918, in Cabell County, W.Va., a daughter of the late William Thomas and Elnora Cyrus Price. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred H. Campbell; great-grandson, Emanuel Nixon; a loving son-in-law, James Ball; and two infant sisters. Survivors include four daughters, Venita Anderson and husband Darrell, Kay Ball, and Marsha Moore, all of Huntington, and Tanya Plybon and husband Dwight of Barboursville; eight grandchildren, Richard Anderson and wife Amy, Christina Anderson Kimball and husband Rob, Michael Nixon and wife Kristin, Kathi Nixon Jenkins and husband Ben, Jamie Ball and wife Mary, Jeffery Ball and wife Angela, Amanda Moore Smith and husband Nathan, and Christopher Moore; 11 great-grandchildren, Nikki Anderson and fiancé Nicholas, Samantha Anderson and fiancé Seth, Connor Anderson-Kimball, Nathan Kimball, Mason Anderson, Mckenna and Jillene Nixon, Joshua Arnold, Alexis Ross, Anna and Jacob Ball; and one great-great-granddaughter, Brooklynn Anderson. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Floral arrangements will be accepted or donations to Hospice of Huntington. Friends may call at Chapman's Mortuary from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Monday, July 11, 2011.
