FLOYD B. "MICKEY" DAVIS, 87, of West Chester, Ohio, formerly of Milton, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord Friday, Oct. 31. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth Eloise Davis for 66 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Clifton Davis, and his mother, Essie Davis, of Milton. He was the father of Mickey Davis and his wife Betty of West Chester, Ohio, Linda Nichols and husband Ted of Greenback, Tenn., and Gary Allen Davis, who greeted him in heaven. He was the grandfather of Sarah Brad and her husband David, Elizabeth Van Damme and her husband Greg, Valerie Jones and her husband John, David Davis and his wife Jennifer, and Michael Nichols. He was the most loved great-grandfather of Michael Brad, Matthew Brad, Emily Davis, Mark Brad, Natalie Davis, Mickey Brad, Colby Jones and Brian VanDamme. He is survived by his sisters, Vivian Bell of Huntington, Gertrude McCroskey of Ona, Kathleen Norris of Huntington, Betty Lue Cline of Englewood, Fla., and Shirley Levisay of Cincinnati, Ohio, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Heck Funeral Home Tuesday, Nov. 4, from 10 a.m. to noon, concluding with a service at noon officiated by the Rev. Bill Davis.
ELIZABETH ELOISE DAVIS, 86, of West Chester, Ohio, formerly of Milton, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 27, 2006. She was the beloved wife of Floyd B. "Mickey" Davis, who preceded her in death in 2003 after 66 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her father, Albert Smith; mother, Goldie Smith-Woody; and four brothers, Homer Smith, Virgil Smith, James Smith and Jack Smith. She was the mother of Mickey Davis and his wife Betty, of West Chester, Ohio, Linda Nichols and her husband Ted, of Greenback, Tenn., and Gary Allen Davis, who greeted her in heaven along with her husband and other loved ones. She was the grandmother of Sarah Brad and her husband David, Elizabeth Van Damme and her husband Gregg, Valarie Nichols, David Davis and his wife Jennifer, and Michael Nichols and his wife Victoria. She was the most loved great-grandmother of Michael Brad, Matthew Brad, Emily Davis, Mark Brad, Natalie Davis, Mickey Brad, Colby Nichols-Jones, Brian Van Damme and Miles Brad, as well as four step-great-grandsons, Kris Burge, Tyler Burge, Danny Lico and Greg Van Damme. She is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Heck Funeral Home, Milton on Wednesday, May 31 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., concluding with a service at 1 p.m. officiated by Pastor Bill Davis. Burial will follow in Milton Cemetery.
