ROBERT LINDBERG DILLON, 81, of Milton, W.Va., passed away Monday, February 2, 2009, at his daughter's home in Lake Wylie, S.C. Graveside service will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, February 5, 2009, at Milton Cemetery with Pastor Joseph Jarrett officiating. He was born January 10, 1928, in Milton, a son of the late Christopher "C.C." and Phoebe A. Burns Dillon. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Opal Marie Dillon; two sisters, Thelma Jane Patterson and Betty Lee Dillon. He was a retired truck driver and loved to spend time on his farm. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Albert Morris of Lake Wylie, S.C.; two granddaughters and their spouses, Megan (Nick) Roberts and Lindsey (Nathan) Rice; two great-grandsons, Carson Rice and Zachary Roberts. Friends may call from noon to 12:45 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. There will be a procession to the cemetery.
