VIVIAN MEADOWS DOSS, 82, of Culloden, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Sept. 24, 2010. She was born July 5, 1928, in Putnam County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Robert and Pansy Wilson Meadows. She was a member of Florida Street Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Doss; and three brothers, William Perry Meadows, Homer Meadows and Isacc Meadows. She is survived by five sisters, Linda Meadows of Culloden, W.Va., Evelyn Nicholas, Delores Wise and Roberta Templeton and her husband Jim, all of Milton, W.Va., and Mabel Kuhn of Ona, W.Va.; one brother, Darrell Meadows and his wife Jennifer of West Hamlin, W.Va.; a sister-in-law, Patty Meadows of Huntington; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 27, 2010, at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, with the Rev. Dickie Jobe. Burial will be in the Milton Cemetery. Visitation will be after noon Monday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton.
