TROY ALLEN HATFIELD, 59, of Huntington, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord Aug. 11, 2011, after a long illness in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Troy was born Feb. 2, 1952, in Charleston, W.Va., a son of the late Alfred and Mary A. Austin Hatfield. He was a maintenance supervisor with Southwestern Community Action Council in Huntington. He was a member of the American Legion Post 0177 in Barboursville, W.Va. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother-in-law, Mack Terry Jr. He is survived by one sister, Yvonne Terry of Milton, W.Va.; two brothers, Alfred "Tony" Hatfield (Betty Jean) of Blacksburg, S.C., and Gary Lee Hatfield (Sherry) of Milton, W.Va.; and a special stepson, Todd Wheeler (Lori) of Inez, Ky.; and a host of family and friends. At Troy's request there will be no service or visitation. Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
