LESTER L. JENKINS, 79, of Milton, W.Va., passed away Friday, January 4, 2008. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, January 7, 2008, at Milton Cemetery. He was born June 1, 1928, in Cabell County, a son of the late Cleveland Jenkins and Anna Smith Jenkins. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 139, Milton. He was preceded in death by one brother, Cleveland "June" Jenkins Jr. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Chris Chapman; two sons, Curtis and Wayne Jenkins, both of Milton; one brother, Jack Jenkins of Fla.; two grandchildren, Michael Chapman and Bridgette Jenkins. Friends may call from noon to 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. . Military graveside services will be conducted by the American Legion Post # 139, Milton.
