ASHLEY NICOLE McCOMAS, 6, of Huntington, W.Va. passed away Saturday, August 17, 2002, in Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington. She was born September 27, 1995, in Huntington, the daughter of Jeremy Todd and Tina G. Smith McComas. She was a first-grader at Huntington Elementary School. In addition to her parents, she is survived by one brother, Bradley McComas at home; paternal grandfather, Richard McComas Jr. of St. Joseph, Mich.; paternal grandmother, Diana Lynn Ward McComas of Huntington; paternal great-grandparents, Richard Sr. and Claudette Huckeby McComas of Charlotte, N.C.; maternal grandparents, Hobert and Nora Smith of Milton, W.Va.; maternal great-grandmother, Emily Smith of Milton; and several loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 21, 2002, at Mud River Baptist Church, Ona, W.Va. with Pastor Don Wheeler officiating; burial in Milton Cemetery, Milton.
