KENNETH G. MOORE, 89, of Milton entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 30, 2005, at his residence. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 2, 2005, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, with the Rev. Kim Stone officiating. Burial will follow in Milton Cemetery. He was born August 9, 1915, a son of the late John and Arella Reynolds Moore. He was also preceded in death by his brother Minor Moore; sister Inez; two sisters-in-law, Evelyn Moore and Roberta Moore; and nephew Russell Harris. He is survived by his wife Mary Unger Moore; two daughters, Joann Glenn and Teresa Souders and her husband, David, both of Milton; one brother, Norvel Moore of North Little Rock, Ark.; two grandchildren, Michael Glenn and Heather Glenn, both of Milton; a special great-grandson, Ethan Michael Glenn, son of Mike Glenn; niece Dorthy Harris of Hurricane; friend Larry Glenn, father of Michael and Heather, of Milton; and special friend Maxine. Friends may call one hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.
MARY ELLEN MOORE, 93, of Milton, W.Va., passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, August 28, 2010. Graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m., Wednesday, September 1, 2010, at Milton Cemetery. She was born January 17, 1917, in Berkely Springs, W.Va., a daughter of the late Ira S. and Ethel Shepard Unger. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth G. Moore. She is survived by two daughters, Joann Glenn and Teresa (David) Souders all of Milton; two grandchildren, Michael Brent and Heather; one great-grandson, Ethan Michael; her wonderful caregivers, Paul and Sally; and her best friend and roommate, Alice. There will be no visitation.
