MINOR MOORE, 91, of Milton went home to be with the Lord Thursday, November 13, 2003, at Sunbridge Care of Putnam. Funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, November 16, 2003, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, with the Rev. Carl Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in Milton Cemetery. He was born August 26, 1912, in Lincoln County, W.Va., a son of the late John and Arella Reynolds Moore. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Carolyn and his grandson, Travis Yates. He was retired from C&O Railroad. He is survived by his wife, Dearlene Jacks Moore; two step-daughters, Brenda Yates and her husband, Kenny of Milton and Julia Covert and her husband, Darrell of Red House; two brothers, Kenneth Moore of Milton and Norvel Moore of North Little Rock, Arkansas; four step-grandchildren and two great-granddaughters. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, November 15 at the funeral home.
