KAREN KAY McCOMAS ROSE, 52, of Trinity, Fla., formerly of Hurricane, passed away Sunday, August 15, 2004, in Tampa, Fla. Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 25, 2004, at St. Timothys In-The-Valley Episcopal Church, Hurricane, with the Rev. William Fulks officiating. She was born February 22, 1952, in Huntington, W.Va., a daughter of the late Henry and Imogene Powell McComas. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Wanda Lou Legg and Sarah Garland. She was a member of St. Timothys In-The-Valley Episcopal Church. She is survived by her husband, Robert L. "Bob" Rose Jr.; two sons, Robert L. "Robbie" Rose III and Trevor W. Rose of Trinity, Fla.; two daughters, Christa Dyke of Champaign, Ill., and Kara Beth Rose of Huntington; and two sisters, Nancy Ann Cargill of Sarasota, Fla., and Linda Carter of Milton.
