FAYE BALL SMITH, 93, of Barboursville, W.Va., passed away Friday, March 9, 2007, in Chateau Grove Senior Living Center. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, March 11, 2007, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, with Rev. Allen Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Milton Cemetery. She was born October 29, 1913, in Cabell County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Lucian Sr. and Virginia Sweet Ball. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Clark Smith; and her sisters, Lucille McClure and Gladys Stewart. She was a retired school teacher of 44 years, she taught at the old Fisher School on Kilgore Creek and at Highlawn Elementary, Huntington. She is survived by her sister, Lillian Peck of Milton; nephew Sam McClure; and niece Vera Faith Hosler. Friends may call after 1 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
