Blankenship, Julia Ann - Date of Death: Friday, 8/13/1976

Julia Ann (Aunt Coach) Blankenship,
95, of Barboursville Rt. 2, died Friday, Aug. 13, 1976, at her home after a long illness.
 Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Dillon Chapel Methodist Church at Melissa, of which she was a member, by the Rev. Charles A. Pullin.
Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery in Huntington. She was born Feb. 9, 1881, in Cabell County, a daughter of the late Reese and Adalaide Turner Dillon.
 She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Blankenship, two sons, Charles and Herman Blankenship, and two daughters, Vera Blankenship and Mrs. Virginia Blankenship Patton.
 Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Clarice Dunkle, Barboursville Rt. 2, with whom she lived; one son B. L. Blankenship, Charleston, 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
 Friends may call at Wallace Funeral Home after 5 p.m. Sunday. The body will be taken to the church one hour before services.
