Napier, Sarah Beth - Date of Death: Monday, 3/29/2010
SARAH BETH NAPIER, 30, of Barboursville, W.Va., went to be with the 
Lord, Monday, March 29, 2010, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House,
 after a courageous five-year battle with breast cancer. She was born April 
23, 1979, in Huntington, W.Va., the daughter of Mark and Kathleen Creasy Napier.
 She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Virginia M. Creasy, 
Margaret Napier of Huntington and Charles T. Napier, of Dayton, Ohio. 
Sarah graduated with high honors from Huntington High School in 1997, and 
Marshall University in 2002. While a student, Sarah worked at the downtown 
Huntington theaters.
 She taught second grade at Neabsco Elementary School in Prince William 
County, Va. Sarah served in inner city Washington, D.C.,
 as After-School Program Coordinator for Daybreak Ministries, a ministry of 
McLean Bible Church in McLean, Va., of which she was a member.
 In addition to her parents, Sarah is survived by her brothers, Jeremy and 
Jason Napier; her grandfather, Rev. Keith Creasy and his wife Christina;
 her great-uncles and aunts, Dale and Martha Creasy, Paul and Brenda Harvey 
and David and Jane Jenkins; her aunt, Tomma Carter; uncles and aunts,
 Rev. Greg and Leigh Ann Creasy and Chuck and Lisa Napier; cousins, Blake, 
Luke and Max Creasy, Allison and Brian Napier, Chad, Andrea and Brandi Warden;
 her close friend/sister, Julie Black Hutchison; and a multitude of friends 
and co-workers. Sarah wrote about her faith journey through cancer on her

 a story of hope, healing, comfort and promise. Her writings continue to 
inspire thousands of people all over the world. Sarah never wavered in her faith 
in God 
and today is enjoying God's eternal promises available to all. The family wishes 
to express appreciation for the professional and loving care offered by the 
Oncology staff at St. Mary's Medical Center,
 the staff at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House and to her doctors Dr. 
David Weinsweig, Dr. Sanjeev Sharma, Dr. Garrett Kimmey, Dr. Ronald Barebo,
 Dr. Mary Wilkinson of Fairfax, Va., Dr. Craig Nolan of Sloan Kettering 
Hospital in New York and especially Dr. Ron Brownfield who has been not only a 
wonderful physician,
 but a brother in Christ through the past few years. All your care made our 
journey much easier. A time of visitation with Sarah's family will be held at 
Wallace Funeral Home in Barboursville
 on Thursday, April 1, from 3 to 9 p.m. A celebration of Sarah's life is 
planned for Friday, April 2, at 1 p.m. at Pea Ridge Baptist Church in 
Huntington. 
In lieu of flowers to honor Sarah, the family requests donations to the 
LoveYourGuts Fund, which will be used to assist various ministries that have 
meant much to Sarah.
