CHESTER RICHARD SAUNDERS, 69, of Glenwood, husband of Opal Mount Saunders, died Monday in St. Mary’s Hospital. He was owner and operator of Saunders Sawmill. Survivors include one daughter, Shelia Mayes of Glenwood; three sons, Michael Richard Saunders, James Perry Saunders and Alan Denver Saunders, all of Glenwood; one sister, Landora Greathouse of Glenwood; and two brothers, Belford Saunders and Donald Saunders, both of Glenwood. Funeral 2 p.m. Thursday at Heck Funeral Home, Milton; burial in Union Ridge Cemetery, Glenwood. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
