Directions: From Barboursville, take Martha Road app. 3 miles to the 4-way stop. Go straight. It is the second driveway on the left. Park at the house. Go straight up the hill to the flat area surrounded by cedar trees. The cemetery is located by the original site of the Bloomingdale Baptist Church. The church was first located on top of that hill in the 1850’s. The cemetery may have been originally connected to the church.

There are two rock marked graves. No writing on the rocks.
It is possible that this is a child & the first wife of Sampson Saunders, who originally owned the land. It has been said that his wife and child died of some strange disease and the neighbors did not want them to be buried around anyone else.
