Nash, Gary E. - Date of Death: Wednesday, 12/6/2000
Gary E. Nash, 61, of Huntington, W. Va., passed away Dec. 6,
2000, in St. Mary’s Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted at noon Saturday, Dec. 9, 2000, at the
Wallace Funeral Home and Chapel, Barboursvile, by Rev. John Atkins.
Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. He was born July 10, 1939, in
Cabell County, a son of the late Thomas Jefferson and Roberta Belle Dillon Nash.
He was an employee og Steel of WV, a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member
of the United Steelworkers of America, Local #37, Huntington.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Harless Nash; one brother, Thomas
Nash; and one grandchild, Gary Nash III.
He is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Mike Hesson
of Barboursville, Pam and John Atkins of Lynchburg, Va., and Vickie and Larry
Lambert of Huntington;
one son, Gary Nash Jr. and Cyndi Pender of Charlotte, N.C.; five sisters,
Freda Benson of Mason County, W. Va., Lorene Sizemore and Janice Mills, both of
Barboursville,
Dee Dee Horn of Florida and Catherine Morgan of Huntington; two brothers,
Charles Nash of Barboursville and Jude Nash of Georgia; a very special nephew,
James Sadler;
nine grandchildren, Michelle Jeffries, Michael Hesson, Keith and Kira
Gottberg, Nathaniel, Preston and Megan Nash, and Matthew and Amanda Lambert;
one great-grandchild, Hailey Nicole Jeffries; friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m.
at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
