Waugh, Shirley Mae Blankenship - Date of Death: Monday, 12/15/2003

SHIRLEY MAE WAUGH,
80, of Huntington, W.Va., went to be with her Lord on Monday, December 15, 2003, in St. Mary's Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1 p.m. at Beard Mortuary with the Rev. Robert Weaver and Mr. Dallas Moore officiating.
 Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. She was born September 25, 1923, in Huntington, a daughter of the late Cline Blankenship and Virgie Dodson Blankenship.
 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Elizabeth Gibson and three brothers, Gene, Keith and Jack Blankenship.
 She was an active member of the First Church of the Nazarene, where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday School. She was a very devoted mother and grandmother, and was very active in the PTA
 and other organizations with them. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Robert Mack Waugh; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sally and Phil Coburn of Huntington
 and Kathi and Mike Powell of Huntington; a son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Melissa Waugh of Chesapeake, Ohio; four grandchildren, Heather Ramsey, Joshua Waugh, Zachery Waugh and Whitney Powell;
and two great-grandchildren, Nathan and Lacey Ramsey. She is also survived by her sisters, Catherine Seitz of Huntington and Sue Russell of Barboursville, W.Va.;
two brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Virginia Blankenship of Cleveland, Ohio, and Robert and Marie Blankenship of Glenwood, W.Va.;
 and her special friends, Carroll and Nellie Templeton and Jarrett and Estelle Maynard.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Beard Mortuary.
