Dicie Kines Bexfield

Dicie Kines Bexfield, 98, of Huntington, widow of Harry E. Bexfield, passed away Monday, August 24, 2009 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. Funeral services will be conducted 9:00 AM Wednesday August 26, 2009 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Shawnee Dr., Huntington, WV, with Bishop Jay Duncan officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Dicie was born April 27, 1911 in Winona, WV, a daughter of Arthur Frederick Rice, Sr., and Maud Jane Kingery Rice. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas E. and Sanna Bexfield of Huntington; four grandchildren, Kim Mitchell, Alysha Danko, Chris Bexfield, and Nathan Bexfield; five great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews including Donna Shank, Fred Rice, and Vera Reese. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House at www.hospiceofhuntington.org.
