Obituary
Jack Davis “J.D.” Booten Jr,
62 of Milton, WV passed away on Saturday January 24, 2015 at Cabell
Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m.
at Beard Mortuary with Rev. Ron Burnsworth officiating. Burial will follow
at Woodmere Memorial Park. He was born April 9, 1952 in Huntington, WV the
son of the late Jack Davis Booten, Sr. and Dorothy Keenan Booten. In
addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Jack Davis “Jay”
Booten, III, a niece, Jennifer Booten and a nephew, Robert H. “Robby”
Booten, II. He is employed by Dustyn Enterprises, Inc. J.D. was formerly
affiliated with his family businesses until 1999, Holiday Inn Gateway and
Ramada Stone Lodge. He is survived by his loving family, his wife, Sharon
Hines Booten; a daughter, Shea Booten and fiancé, Gary Tooley of Huntington;
a son Max Booten and fiancé, Kari Mefford of Louisville, KY; grandchildren,
Dustyn Hutchinson, Macy Tooley and Jay Tooley; a sister and brother-in-law,
Suzanne and L. Bob Smith of Boca Raton, FL; a brother, Robert H. “Bobby”
Booten of Lesage, WV; nieces, Lauren Booten of Huntington and Janee (Paul)
Womack of Hollywood, FL a nephew, Jared Booten of Huntington; a very special
aunt, Frances Keenan of Huntington and a host of extended family and special
friends. In lieu of flowers those who wish may make memorial contributions
to the Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center or the Cammack Children's Center.
