Anita Louise Hornbuckle
(February 29, 1948 - May 25, 2011)

Anita Louise Hornbuckle, 63 of Huntington went to be with the Lord Jesus, Wednesday, May 25, 2011 in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at First Baptist Church of Huntington, with Rev. Donte’ Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Forrest Lawn Cemetery. Anita was born February 29, 1948 in Pittsburgh, PA, a daughter of the late William Willard and Ora Irene “Botts” Murrell. She was a retired Human Resource specialist with Special Metals of Huntington. She was a member of First Baptist church of Huntington, WV and a Member of the Eastern Star’s. She was preceded in death by two sister’s Patricia Murrell and Elizabeth Murrell and one brother William Murrell. Anita is survived by her loving Husband Keith Hornbuckle, three daughters Feon Smith (Tony) of Huntington, WV, Tara Thomas (George) of Canal Winchester, OH and Sherrone Hornbuckle- Adams (Derrick) of Huntington, WV. Two sisters Vaida Carey of Newport News, VA, Cecelia Murrell-Jones of Atlanta, GA, and one brother Charles Murrell (Judy) of Man, WV, five grandchildren Ashley Napier (Shawn), Alisha Smith, Tanisha Thomas, David Thomas, Jolon Adams. Visitation will be from 11am to 1pm May 31, 2011 at the church. Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, Huntington, WV is in charge of arrangements.
