Gilbertia Jean Ferrell
(January 12, 1938 - April 17, 2015)

Gilbertia Jean Ferrell, 77, of Huntington, WV, passed away on April 17, 2015 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Gilbertia was born January 12, 1938 in Huntington. Gilbertia is the daughter of the late George and Ethel Knight. She was a member of the Ramona #35 and retired from Mildred Mitchell Bateman Hospital. Gilbertia is preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Jarrell and Georgie Ann Knight, and one brother, George Knight. Survivors include three sons, Michael J. Ferrell (Lori) of Huntington, Steven L. Ferrell of Huntington and Adam K. Ferrell (Calvin) of Columbus, OH; one daughter, Ethel Kay Hayes (Craig) of South Point, OH; two sisters, Kay Chapman of South Point, OH and Erma Estep of Barboursville and one brother, Don Knight of Crown City, OH. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Ean Hayes, Alyssa and Devin Ferrell. A Memorial service will be held Friday May 1, 2015 at 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home.
