Walter Jones
(June 11, 1945 - January 24, 2016)

Walter Jones, Sr., 70 of Huntington, WV went to be with The Lord January 24, 2016. He was born June 11, 1945 in Montgomery, WV. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jerry Jones and Mary Parnell Jones; son, Jody Jones; brothers, William Jones and Robert Jones. Walter moved to Logan, WV at an early age, he attended Arcoma High School and graduated from Logan High School. He also attended Morning Star Baptist Church in Whitman WV. He leaves behind to mourn his loss; his loving wife, Edna Mae Jones; daughters, Angela Jones of Delaware, OH, Frances West of Huntington, WV and Janice Woodfork (Tracy) of District Heights, MD; sons, Walter Jones, Jr. (Teresa), Ernest Jones all of Delaware, OH, Antoine Jones of MD, Artie Reynolds of Grandview, MO, Troy Ragland of Columbus, OH and Marcus Ragland (Kelly) of St. Albans, WV; sisters, Cynthia Louise Coats of Huntington, Teresa Lynn Jones of Texas, Barbara Drew of Charleston, WV and sister in-law Mary Cunningham of Columbus, OH; brothers, Ronald Jones (Carol) of Logan, WV, Billy Jones (Susie) of Milton, WV, Curtis Jones of Montgomery, WV and Jerry Jones, Jr. (Brenda). Also surviving are 27 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; uncles, Jessie Parnell and Thomas Parnell; aunt, Lauvena Jones and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held 1:00p.m., Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Real Life Christian Center Church with Bishop Charles Shaw officiating. Family will welcome friends one hour prior to services. Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home and Tri-State Cremation Society is assisting with family.
