Jodie Dale Christian, 42, of Ashland, KY passed away November 25, 2016 at King’s Daughters Medical Center. He was born September 3, 1974 in Charleston, WV to parents Frank Christian and Betty Shaffer Christian. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Don Christian and Frankie Christian. He leaves behind to mourn his loss; wife, Mary Christian; children, Justice, Frankie, Brandon, Austin, Precious, Shyra and Jody; brothers, Gilbert Christian, Gary Christian, Johnny Christian, Raymond Christian (Tonya), and Jack Christian (Debbie); sisters, Carlmella Akers (Jesse), Sandra Christian, Matilda Hicks, Angel Christian and Bonnie Evans (Darren). Also surviving is a host of nieces, nephews and many other family members; best friends, Rick Richardson, Keith Hall, “Big Brother Daniels”, Jonathan Jackson, Seth Wages (Stormi), Andrew Cole, Nick Baldridge, Michael Davidson and Daniel Davis. At this time, arrangements are pending with Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home. Donations for Jodie’s funeral expense may be made to the funeral home.
