Obituary

EMMA JANE WHEELER TRIPLETT, 79, of St. Albans, formerly of Milton, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 6, 2005, in King's Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, Ky. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, December 8, 2005, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, with Pastor David Tuinstra officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Janie was born August 21, 1926, a daughter of the late James William and Cora McClanahan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Triplett; her son, Robert A. Wheeler; and infant daughter Jane Ann Wheeler. She retired from Union Carbide, South Charleston. She was a member of the St. Peter's United Methodist Church, St. Albans, and an active member of the St. Albans, Chapter 79, Order of the Eastern Star, Past Matron of St. Albans, Chapter 79, OES and Past Worthy Grand Matron of the State of WV OES. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Alice Wheeler of South Point, Ohio; two grandchildren, Laura Ellen Payne and her husband Joey Michael and James Alan Wheeler; two great-grandchildren, James Robert Logan Rose and Alice Kathryn Abigail Payne; stepson, Steven Triplett of Santa Fe, Texas; and stepdaughter Diana Jennings of Whitefish, Mont. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Robert A. Wheeler Scholarship Fund, 220 Twp.
