Obituary

Sara Wilber Curatolo, 68 of Hurricane went home to be with her Lord Saturday, April 15, 2006 at her residence.  Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Rev. Allen Stewart officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton.  Sara was born September 17, 1937 in Milton a daughter of the late Lindsey and Elizabeth Lunsford Grass.  She is also preceded in death by one brother, Joe Eddie Grass; one sister, Jane Ann Meadows.  Sara was a graduate from Milton High School where she was also crowned Miss Greyhound.  She also attended Marshall University and Catherine Gibbs Finishing School.  She was the training director for Gimbles and Wanamakers and the Vice President for Diamond Department Store.  Sara was the personnel director for Kaufman Department Store and was the human resource manager for Jackson and Kelly law office.  She was on the Board of Advisors for Sunrise Museum and taught merchandising at West Virginia Sate.  She is survived by her loving husband, John Anthony Curatolo; two daughters, Jane Lee Unabia and husband Edward and Dee Ann Wilber; one step-son, John Michael Curatolo and wife Jean; one step grandson, John Michael Curatolo Jr.; one step-daughter, Anne Catharine Mecum and husband Sam; two step grandchildren, Anthony Michael Mecum and Mary Catharine Mecum.  Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
