Anna Ruth Clagg, 81, of Milton, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 in Cabell-Huntington Hospital. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 14, 2014 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Caudle Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. She was born July 9, 1932 in Milton, WV, a daughter of the late Clarence and Mabel Moore Stratton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Everett “Bid” Clagg; daughter, Particia Ann Clagg; three brothers, Virgil, Denver and Dorsey Stratton; and one sister, Lorene Meadows. She was a member of Bias Chapel Church. She is survived by three brothers and sisters-in-law, Loren (Lola May) Stratton, Melvin (Normalee) Stratton and Merle (Linda) Stratton, all of Milton; one sister, Marjorie Reynolds of Milton; two sisters-in-law, Clodene Stratton and Opal Stratton and a host of nieces and nephews.
