Marian Louise (Bailey) Wells
(February 9, 1931 ~ September 17, 2017)



Marian Louise Bailey Wells, 86, of St. Petersburg, FL, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 17, 2017.  She was born February 9, 1931 in Pocatalico, WV, a daughter of the late Shirley D. and Margaret Jane Bailey.  She was also preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters.  Marian was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, Ona and was a hairdresser at St. Mary’s Medical Center for years.  She loved both her church and her job.  She was an avid cake decorator, loved watching her Mountaineers and loved listening to Dwight Yoakam.  She is survived by three daughters, Tonya Ann Reynolds of Ona, Sandy Wells of St. Petersburg, FL and Kim Zambos of Ashland, KY; one son, Greg Wells of St. Petersburg; five grandchildren, Jason “Moo” Reynolds and his wife, Janell of Barboursville, Nick and Andreas Zambos of Ashland, Heather Wells of Springboro, OH and Lyndsy Rainey of Barboursville; three great grandchildren, Jamie, Emma and Jillian Bailey; two sisters, Helen Francisco and her husband, Carl of Cross Lanes and Alma Belle of Barboursville.  A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Bill Davis officiating.  Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Antioch Missionary Baptist Church or the Special Olympics.
