Cheryl Sue Weatherholt
(May 20, 1949 - December 15, 2018

Cheryl Sue Weatherholt, 69, of Cambridge Circle, NC, formerly of Milton, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Atrium Health in Kings Mountain, NC.  Cheryl was born on May 20, 1949 in Cabell County, WV, a daughter of the late Oscar Weatherholt and Kathryn Ramsey Weatherholt. She worked as a bookkeeper until her health began to decline. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Cherryville, NC, where she served as secretary.  She is survived by her husband, Oscar Shinn; son, Chris Walker and his wife, Melissa of Shelby, NC; daughter, Kelly Walker Sowards and her husband, Troy of Milton, WV; brother, Bruce Weatherholt of Mobile, AL; five stepchildren, Lorraine Shinn, Judy Shinn, Junior Shinn, Mary Shinn and Coley Shinn; three grandchildren, Dustin, Cameron and Kale; one great grandchild, Aniken; and several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.  Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 21, 2018 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, where funeral service will be held at 2 p.m.  Burial will follow in Milton Cemetery.
