JOHN WILKINSON III.
(July 24, 1928 - October 22, 2012)

Rev. John Wilkinson III., 84 of Huntington, WV, passed away, Monday, October 22, 2012 in Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV. He was born July 24, 1928 in Syracuse, NY the son of the late, John Wilkinson, Jr. and Mary Leavenworth Van Duyn. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in Korea and was a retired Unitarian Minister.  John is survived by one daughter, Heather Hope Wilkinson of College Station, TX and two sons, John Wilkinson IV of Huntington, WV and Wells Gilliam Wilkinson of Boston, MA; one, sister, Hope Wilkinson Cushman, of NC and one brother, Edward Van Duyn Wilkinson of Conn; two grandchildren, Maretta Hope Dewitt and John Wilkinson V.  Memorial gathering will be 3:00 until 6:00 PM Saturday November 3rd, 2012 at the Unitarian Fellowship of Huntington 619 6th Ave. Covered dish is optional.  Henson Mortuary, Barboursville, WV is assisting the family.
