Donald Lee Burge, 77 of Huntington, WV went to be with the Lord on August 24, 2018 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. He was born on October 14, 1940 in Barboursville, WV; the son of the late Fred and Dora Pfiefer Burge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Maxine Burge. He was employed at INCO for 31 years before his retirement. He also worked as a valet at Cabell Huntington Hospital. In addition to his volunteer work, he thoroughly enjoyed the fellowship of the morning coffee group at Cabell Huntington Hospital. He was also a member of the Rt. 60 Freewill Baptist Church, Kenova. He is survived by his wife Cliffaleen Browning Burge of Huntington; one brother, Jerry Burge of South Point, OH; seven children, Richard (Melissa) Burge of TN, Amber Burge of TN, Carol Burge of Lesage, WV, Chris Rogers of Barboursville, WV, Clyde Devore of Ona, WV, Debbie Martin of Coal Grove, OH, Sheila Walker of Proctorville, OH; twelve grandchildren, Jessica, Cheryl, Richard II, Ashley, Hailie, Kimberly, Hayden, Reanna, Aaron, Eric, Brandon and Derrick; thirteen great-grandchildren, Josiah, Anna, J.J., Jackson, Cameron, Preston, Riley, Sammy, Seth, Caidence, Eric, Lindsey and Ben; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 12pm noon on Monday, August 27, 2018 at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary, 6357 E. Pea Ridge Road, Huntington, WV, with Pastor Chuck McCormick officiating. Burial will follow at Ridgelawn Memorial Park in Huntington, WV. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until service time at the mortuary.
