Obituary

Zetta Bronwen Dillon Russell, 84 of Huntington, WV, ascended to heaven and joined her husband, Orville “Eddie” Russell on Friday, November 30, 2018 in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. Zetta was the daughter of John and Lois Feurt Dillon and was born April 16, 1934 in Lawrence County, OH. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Orville “Eddie” Russell and sister, Peggy Cartwright. She was a member of Pea Ridge UMC and formerly worked for the Cabell County Sheriff’s Dept., Marshall University and in a local Insurance business. She had three children, first was Vicki, who will laugh at darn near anything. Seriously, just wink at her or make a face and she’ll start giggling. Then there was Jeff. He was a nerd with glasses and long hair in high school, but he still managed to snag Donna (Reese) Russell and have two children, Brian and Stephanie (Dave Tran). Zetta and Eddie’s third child was Barri, the popular high school Homecoming queen who inherited her mom’s good looks. She married Ron (LaPierre) and moved to Connecticut, with their kids Blake and Blair. She also was the proud aunt of nine nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Monday, December 3, 2018 at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary, East Pea Ridge Road Huntington, W.Va. with Rev. Angela Gay Kinkead, officiating. A private burial will follow on Tuesday at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, W.Va. The family will receive friends on Monday, two hours prior to services at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary, Huntington, W.Va.
