Obituary

Edna A. Dague
(January 14, 1921 - March 28, 2014)



Edna A. Dague, 93, of Huntington, went home to be with the Lord on Friday March 28, 2014 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Wednesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Rev. Ric Revely. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. She was born January 14, 1921 in Lincoln County, WV a daughter of the late G. Mack and Elizabeth Hager Adkins. Edna worked in office administration and later in her life worked for her brother in the wholesale food industry. While living in Florida, she went to the Lighthouse Word Church, she loved God and was Baptist by faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by five sisters, Idoskie, Ethel Verda, Essie and Beulah and five brothers Bernie, Bennie, Odell, Hartsel and Jennings. She was the last of the children to go to Heaven. Survivors include her daughter Sharon Korne Edrington; four grandchildren whom she loved so very much, Roger Korne, Rick and Randy Edrington and Danette Thomas; five great grandchildren Nathan and Avery Korne, Danielle, Philip and John Head and a host of nieces and nephews. Edna will be missed very much. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the WV Chapter of Alzheimer's Association, 1601 2nd Ave. Charleston, WV 25387 or to the American Heart Association.
