Obituary



Richard A. Perdue, 77, of Huntington, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016, at his residence. Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 am Friday at the White Chapel Memorial Gardens Mausoleum by Rev. Thom Malcolm and Rev. Ralph Sager. Burial will follow. He was born October 20, 1938 in Cabell County, W. Va. a son of the late Richard and Eva Carter Perdue. He was a retired carpenter and a member of the Mount Union United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Michelle Marie Perdue, two brothers Raymond and Donald Perdue and a sister Jeanene Stowers. Survivors include his beloved wife of 59 years Eulah Perdue, three sons Richard “Richie” Perdue Jr., Tracy Perdue, both of Myrtle Beach, SC and Troy Perdue of Weber City, VA, two daughters and sons-in-law Sheri and Mike Stowers and Kim and Anthony Enix all of Huntington, four grandchildren and two spouses Michael and Missy Stowers, Courtney Stowers, Kali Marie Enix and Zak and Megan Enix, four great grandchildren Kyeler and Carson Stowers, Lacey and Payton Tabor, two brothers Bob Perdue of Myrtle Beach, SC, Ron Perdue of Huntington, two sisters Pat Bates of Huntington , Betty Turner of Warren, MI and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 5 to 7 pm Thursday, October 6, 2016 at the Reger Funeral Home. There will be no procession to the cemetery.
