Linda Lou Karnes
(March 4, 1948 - July 25, 2019)



Linda Lou Karnes, 71, of Kenova, WV, went to be with the Lord on Thursday July 25, 2019 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington.  Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 pm Monday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Keith Wiebe, Sr.  Burial will follow in Docks Creek Cemetery, Kenova, WV.  She was born March 4, 1948 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Howard Amos Byrd and Mildred Cree Mellert Byrd.  She was retired from home healthcare and attended Grace Gospel Church.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her siblings Kree Ann Simmons, Howard R. Byrd and Mary K. Marcum.  Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Cherie N. and Bryan Salyers and Crystal D. Stephens; seven grandchildren, Brittany N. (Tyler) Griffin, Bethany D. (Cody) Fowler, Bryan L.M. Salyers, Taylor K. Stephens, Russell D. Stephens, Christopher A. Stephens (Mika), Noah J. Stephens; ten great grandchildren, Taiden J. Henson, Aybree S. Sanders, Bentlee J. Sayre, Tyler M. Griffin, Ryker G. Moore, Bryson L. Salyers, Trysten N. Griffin, Sophia G. Stephens, Aurora J. Wilson and Adriana G. Fowler; siblings, Patricia S. Williams and George E. Byrd and several nieces and nephews.  Friends may call from 12:30 pm until service time on Monday at the Reger Funeral Home.
