Edward Duane "Ed" Noel
(March 21, 1975 - June 25, 2019)



Edward Duane Noel (Ed), 44, of Salt Rock, WV, passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 surrounded by family. Ed was born March 21, 1975.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Steve Duane Noel and Brenda Ellen Cooper-Noel; Maternal Grandparents, Velkie “Buck” Garland Cooper, Irene Pearl Cooper, and Paternal Grandparents Duane Allen Noel and Olive Ann Noel. Ed is survived by his loving daughter Larissa Brianne Noel of Milton, WV, Partner Stacy Farmer of Huntington, WV and her children Galeb and Shane Farmer; two sisters, Christie Samples John, her husband, Brandon of McAlester, OK and their children Corporal Jon Veath and Joshua John and Bobbi Bartlett, her husband, Rob and their children Mari and Russ, of Lexington, KY.  Stepmother, Marcie Noel, of Sadieville, KY; Big brother (cousin) Daniel Robertson of Columbus, OH and his children, Tyler, Nick and Shay Robertson; the Roy family; and Ed’s lifelong friend Ed Napier (Big Ed) and his family. The love for Ed is shared by his Aunts and Uncles Sheila Bell of Columbus, OH and her children Trevor Bell and Brittany Pelino; Mick Noel & Tina Noel of Loveland, CO and their children, Corina Tynsky, Amber Thomson & Greg Noel; Scott Noel of Fulton, NY; Joe Mastrangelo & Cathy Mastrangelo, of Smithfield, VA.  His cousins: Craig Sampson, Shelly Bowen, Sarah Riggs, Allison Stamper, Amy Milem and many more.                 Ed loved fishing, hunting and the outdoors.  You could find him on the riverbanks fishing, four wheeling or in the woods hunting any time that he had a chance.  He also played guitar and wrote music where you could hear him around a campfire with his friends and family. A graveside service will be held 10:00 am, Friday, August 16, 2019 at Baylous Cemetery, 278-5458 Hickory Ridge Rd, Barboursville, West Virginia, 25504. A Celebration of Life get together will be held at Beech Fork State Park 5601 Long Branch Rd, Barboursville, WV 25504 following graveside service.
