Viola Kay Slone
(June 16, 1947 - April 18, 2020)


Viola Kay Slone


Viola "Kay" Dickson-Slone, wife of Bill L. Slone, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington.  She was the granddaughter of the late Lola Mae and Coleman Ellis.  She was also preceded in death by her beloved son, Billie "Bubby" Slone, whom she missed until the day of her death.  She is survived by her beloved daughter and son-in-law, Tracey Michelle and Adam Pabrazinsky of Kenova, her sister Pamela, as well as her "Therapy" Yorkie, Jasmine. Her children were the light of her life and she loved them dearly.  She is also survived by three grandchildren, including grandson Billie Slone, III of Kenova. Kay was previously employed as office manager at Compton Office Machine and for 22 years as office manager at Express Printing.  She was also employed at AMIS Systems Inc. as an Assistant Sales Associate with 5 1/2  years of service and with Scaggs Printing. She will be missed by her many cousins, friends and family. Kay was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Huntington and also St. Ann's Catholic Church in Chesapeake, Ohio and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.  A Private Funeral Liturgy will be held for Kay at St. Ann's Catholic Church on Wednesday. Flowers will be accepted and appreciated the can be delivered to Reger Funeral Home, Huntington before 9:30 am Wednesday; or donations may be made to Little Victory's Animal Shelter.  Burial will take place at Crescent Hill Cemetery, Ceredo, WV.  Reger Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
