Ersie Bell Legg

Ersie Bell Courts Legg, 95, of Milton, passed away Monday, June 18, 2012. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 21, 2012, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Entombment will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. She was born August 24, 1916, in Hamlin, WV, a daughter of the late John W. Courts and Eliza Jane Akers Courts. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Herbert W. Midge Legg; brothers, Clinton Cebert Courts and John W. Courts Jr.; two sisters, Sylvia G. Waters and Erma E. Legg. She was a member of Union Baptist Church. She is survived by one brother, Cecil Courts of Culloden. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton.
